The Tonto National Forest will begin hosting a new round of public meetings this month. These meetings will provide some information as a follow up to the meetings held in late February and early March. The meetings will also update people on the status of forest plan revision in light of the recent court ruling regarding the Forest Service's planning rule.

The meeting dates and locations are:

1. Globe - May 15, 6:30-8:00p.m. Globe High School auditorium (437 S. High Street, Globe)

2. Tonto Basin - May 21, 6:30-8:00p.m. Tonto Basin Elementary School gym

3. Mesa - May 23, 6:30-8:00p.m. East Mesa Public Library, Red Mtn. Branch (635 N. Power Rd. Mesa)

4. Cave Creek - May 24, 6:30-8:00p.m. Paradise Valley Community College (18401 N. 32nd Street room 108, Phoenix)

5. Payson - May 29, 6:30-8:00p.m. Rim Country Middle School cafeteria/auditorium (304 S. Meadow Lane, Payson)

6. Pleasant Valley - May 30 6:30-8:00p.m. Pleasant Valley Community Center
