Arizona Game and Fish Department Shooting Showcase offers fun and educational activities for all ages

Saturday, March 25 * 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday, March 26 * 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Ben Avery Shooting Facility
Northwest corner of I-17 and Carefree Highway, Phoenix
Exit I-17 at Carefree Highway (Exit 223) and go 1/2 mile west on
Carefree Highway to Long Shot Lane

Shooting, hunting and other outdoor recreation enthusiasts won't want to miss the Arizona Game and Fish Department Shooting Showcase on March 25-26. Attendees will have a variety of activities to choose from: 

* Try out the latest firearms from different manufacturers on the small bore range (there is a nominal fee for ammunition).
* Experience hands-on cowboy action shooting, rifle and pistol silhouette, black powder and other specialty shooting disciplines on ranges not normally available to the general public.
* Test your skill on our archery range.
* View exciting skeet shooting demonstrations by Arizona's own Emily Blount, a member of the U.S. National Shooting Team.
* Attend educational workshops on such topics as how to improve your big game draw odds, history of firearms, venomous reptiles, outdoor cooking, hunting with dogs, and bowhunting tips.
* Visit booths from firearms-related manufacturers, equipment dealers, and local shooting clubs.
* View Arizona Game and Fish Department exhibits on firearms safety, boating safety, off-highway vehicle recreation, wildlife conservation and more.
