Dear Supporters:
I am writing you to inform you of the status of the Harper For Senate campaign.  As many of you may know, I am seeking a third term to the Arizona State Senate.  I believe I have lived up to every campaign pledge and served my constituents without seeking or accepting personal gain. 

I will be challenged again this year in the primary election, as well as the general. The issues are on our side and by the grace of God, we will be victorious.  This will be a campaign of honesty, integrity, and diligence, but I will need your help.  I am confident that you all have friends and family members that share my principles of limited government intrusion, lower taxes, and family values.  I am convinced that those friends and family members will want to do all they can to see that I return to the state senate.  I need you to ask them to make calls for the Harper For Senate campaign. 

I will be concentrating on contacting Republican primary voters.  This is where you can make a difference.  On or around August 10th, early ballots will be mailed to thousands of voters in LD-4.  I must have dozens of volunteers, willing to make calls to those voters.   After the first couple of days of early voting, the number of ballots being mailed into the district will dwindle.  A few of my most dedicated volunteers and me should be able to keep up after that point.  I also need you or your family members (should you or they live in LD-4) place a yard sign where neighbors and passing cars can see it.  Your public display of support wins votes.

This will be a hard-fought battle but in the end, our comradery will be unbending because we stood together in the face of overwhelming odds.
